Tips for using essential oil with a diffuser
Clean Your Essential Oil Diffuser
Surely we all want to keep our essential oil diffusers operating at peak performance. It must be kept clean to ensure that it does not get damaged. This is particularly important if you are using essential oils. It is possible for oil residue to mix with one another and create an unexpected scent.
After each essential oil diffuser is used, we recommend cleaning it. This will help to remove oil residue and hard water buildup, which can reduce the effectiveness of your diffuser.

Do not forget to diffuse essential oils regularly
Many people who are new to essential oils diffuse essential oils constantly. This is not good for the diffuser, or you. If you don’t leave the diffuser on, your limbic system will adjust to essential oils faster. This can lead to fewer benefits from aromatherapy.
Diffusing essential oils on an intermittent basis is a great way to increase the benefits. The standard cycle would be to let the oil diffuse for 30 minutes, then turn it off for 30 seconds. Ventilate your space to get fresh air.
Take into account the space
When putting essential oils in a diffuser, you need to consider the size of your room. Although 3-5 drops is the standard, it’s not always necessary to cover large spaces.
The ventilation in your room is another factor to consider. A less ventilated area may require you to use less oil. We recommend that you place your diffuser in a well-ventilated area to prevent it from overpowering you.
The quality of the essential oil
Essential oils should only be purchased from reputable suppliers. The FDA doesn’t oversee essential oils – you might not know this but they do not verify its safety or effectiveness. Side effects are more likely to occur when essential oils are of poor quality. We need to ensure that we only purchase authentic, pure essential oils from reliable suppliers.
Diffusing Crucial Oils Around Pet Dogs
Animals are more sensitive than humans to essential oils. When you introduce essential oils to your pets, be sure to keep them safe. Keep a scent-free room for them to retreat to, and stop diffusing the essential oil when they act differently
